Cesena FC’s preseason training camp continues at Lake Acquapartita. On the afternoon of the tenth day of training, the Bianconeri took the field for a joint training session against Sampierana Calcio, winning by a final score of 5-0.

After Zaro had a goal disallowed for offside 15 minutes into the game, Druiventak’s two-goal performance set the tone for the match, followed by a goal from Tosku, which made the score 3-0 at the end of the first 45 minutes. In the second half, Cesena scored again with goals by Zamagni and Olivieri, bringing the final score to 5-0.

At the end of the joint training session, bianconeri midfielder Matteo Casadei said: “The team is fantastic, and from day one I’ve gotten along great with all my teammates: they were the first to help me, and whenever I have any doubts or difficulties, I always ask them for advice. These first two friendlies show that we’re working well and with intensity—those are the core principles the coach has emphasized from day one. Intensity is always a must in his style of play, but the most important thing he demands is attitude—that’s something you absolutely can’t get wrong. Technical mistakes can happen; they’re part of the game—but these first two friendlies have shown what kind of team we are and that we’re ready for anything.”

With the second preseason friendly now behind them, the Cavalluccio will return to the field tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22, for another double training session starting at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively.
