On Friday, September 4, a press conference was held in the press room at Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi to introduce Emil Bohinen, midfielder for Cesena FC. At his side was Andrea Mancini, the Cavalluccio’s sporting director, who stated: “We are very happy to introduce Emil, who is the latest addition to the Bianconeri and the player who wrapped up our summer signings. On behalf of myself and the club, I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to him and wish him the best of luck for his future with Cesena.”
Next, it was Emil Bohinen’s turn. Responding to questions from the journalists present, he said: “Obviously, I still need a little time to get into top shape, but we’ve gotten off to a good start as a team, and personally, I’ve felt right at home with the group from the start.”
“My only goal is to help the team in every way possible. I now have some experience under my belt, between Serie A and Serie B, and I want to put that to the club’s use—not only to help the team on the field but also to support my teammates, especially the younger ones, as they develop.”
“What’s the secret to Norway’s success? In my opinion, there are many things they’ve done well, and in particular, we have a lot of young players who get the chance to compete in Norway’s top division. To me, this is essential for allowing young players to develop.”
“I consider myself a player who likes to have the ball at my feet as much as possible. That’s also one of the reasons why I chose to come to Cesena: I know that here, the team wants to play with the ball. I like to control the flow of the game, and, as I said, off the field I want to give my all to support my teammates.”
