In the press room at Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi, coach Alessandro Diamanti previewed the Cesena FC - US Cremonese match, part of the fourth matchday of the 2026/27 Serie BKT season, scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi.
“Cremonese is a strong team with Serie A-caliber talent, led by a very talented coach whom I hold in high regard. It will be a great — and very difficult — match, and, as I say every week, we’re focusing solely on ourselves. We’ve seen what our opponents are capable of, but in the end — as I tell the players — it all starts with us: with what we want to do and what we want to bring to the game. We are the masters of our own destiny.”
“Riding the wave of positive results? I think that as long as I’m here, the positive streak will continue because I don’t let myself get distracted by losses, draws, or wins. There’s work to be done, and we’re a positive team that always trains with fun, tremendous intensity, tremendous confidence, and a sense of responsibility. I said it on the very first day: we’ll approach and prepare for every match to the best of our ability, and then we’ll go out and perform. We’ll be focused on our performance, that’s what we do. I’m very happy because we’ve had another top-notch week, with great spirit and great dedication. “In today’s soccer, with five substitutions available, there’s no longer a starting eleven and then the rest, there are twenty players ready to play. This week I complimented everyone, which is normal for me, because I have twenty-four players who all train at their absolute best and make it difficult for me every time I have to choose the lineup to field. Having these kinds of problems is a good thing, they’re the kind of problems you want to have. As I said, I’ve praised everyone, and this is the path we need to stay on until the very last matchday of the season.”
