Niccolò Fontana and Cesena FC together until 2029

Cesena FC announces that it has extended its contract with goalkeeper Niccolò Fontana through June 30, 2029.

A true native of Cesena who grew up dreaming of wearing the black-and-white jersey since he was a child, Niccolò joined the Cavalluccio Youth Sector in 2021 and immediately made his mark, playing for both the Under-15 and Under-16 teams that were crowned Italian Serie C Champions in the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons.

After also guarding the goal for the Bianconeri’s Under-18 team—which fell just short of the championship final in the 2024/2025 season—Niccolò was among the standout players for the Bianconeri’s Primavera team last season, which reached the finals for the Italian Championship title.

The entire Cesena FC family would like to extend its most sincere congratulations to Niccolò and wishes him the best of luck as he continues his journey with the Bianconeri.
