In the press room at Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi, head coach Alessandro Diamanti previewed the Virtus Entella vs. Cesena FC match, part of Matchday 2 of the 2026/27 Serie BKT season and scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the “Sannazzari” Stadium in Chiavari.
“As I said last week, there can never be any excuses for us. The team has trained exceptionally well again this week; they’re increasingly focused on the task at hand, more motivated than ever, and brimming with enthusiasm. We’ve prepared for this match meticulously, down to every detail. Now we can’t wait to head to Chiavari to battle it out and give it our all while having fun.”
“There could be pitfalls if we don’t approach the game the right way, but I don’t have any such concerns. Virtus Entella is a team that’s been playing together for a long time; they know how to fight, how to dig in, and they have real quality. We’ll definitely have to match them in spirit, intensity, strength, one-on-one battles, and competitiveness. This is non-negotiable and always will be. We’ll have to go there and play our game, without forgetting that it’s a tough place to play—but the team knows that well.
