In the new season, the perspective through which the Bianconeri Club will present matchday content on its official social media channels is changing. While up until last season it had always been the first-team players who kicked off matchday on Cesena FC’s official accounts, this season the stars of the content published ahead of every league match for the Bianconeri will be none other than the fans.
The matchday is, in fact, content designed to build anticipation for game day, and no one better than the Cavalluccio’s fans can capture this moment of anticipation, because this year, it won’t just be Cesena FC taking the field, but the entire city of Cesena.
The concept behind the new format is simple and straightforward: each match features a different face, chosen each time from among the people who make up the fabric of the Cesena community. The shoemaker filmed in his workshop, the butcher behind the counter, the young man outside the school entrance, the parish priest inside the church: these are just a few of the settings that will serve as the backdrop for the various posts, in a series that over the coming weeks will explore different trades, age groups, and locations throughout the city.
The fan featured in each post will wear the Cesena FC jersey and will be portrayed in poses traditionally associated with professional soccer players, such as the classic crossed arms in front of the camera. With this new matchday, Cesena FC aims to place the true heart of the Bianconeri community at the center of the narrative. Whether they’re opening their shop at six in the morning, taking their kids to school, or working behind a counter—for one day, they’ll all don the Cavalluccio jersey to remind us that Cesena isn’t just made up of those who play, but above all by those who never stop supporting the team.
