At the halfway point of the Bianconeri training camp in Acquapartita, midfielder Filippo Bertaccini shared his feelings and emotions about his first Bianconeri training camp with the first team.
“I’m really excited to be part of this training camp because it’s been my dream ever since I was a kid. I’ve always been a Cesena fan, and I’ve often come here to Acquapartita to watch their training camps. So far, the camp is going great—it’s the same group as last year, and I’m very close to all of them; they’ve been there for me during this time. The coach is very good and inspires us with great enthusiasm; he’s helping us understand his ideas. So far, it’s been a training camp with a heavy workload, but it’s very enjoyable. I’m convinced that if we stay this united, we’ll achieve a lot of success this year.”
“ I can definitely say that this past year has been full of ups and downs—both good and bad: wonderful moments like my debut, which is unforgettable for me, but also tough times due to an unexpected event—a minor setback, so to speak. But when I’m here—thanks in part to the guys who’ve always supported me and messaged me every day, as well as Coach Diamanti and his staff—I’m able to forget everything I’ve been through. Today, I’m just happy to be able to start over, to be able to prove once again what little I managed to show last year: now we just need to roll up our sleeves and get back to work.”
