On the occasion of International Women's Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday, March 8, Cesena FC is proud to present a new project dedicated to promoting gender equality and fighting all forms of discrimination, encapsulated in the slogan “Vallo a dire a lei”.

The video launching the initiative features the players of Cesena FC Femminile, at the center of a production that powerfully and authentically conveys what it means to be a woman in the world of soccer. The concept starts from a still too widespread cliché, “Soccer is a male sport,” and overturns it through images of training, tackles, sacrifices, and moments of play that testify to the commitment, determination, and passion of the Bianconere.

The message is clear: “Vallo a dire a lei,” to her who takes to the field every day, trains consistently, and is often called upon to make an extra effort to prove her worth. Because if talent has no gender, neither should opportunities.

“Vallo a dire a lei,” however, is more than just a video. It is only the first step in a project that will live on a dedicated website (valloadirealei.it), to keep the spotlight on gender equality both on and off the field. “Vallo a dire a lei” represents a real mission for the Bianconeri club, which will produce new content every year featuring the women of Cesena, to strongly and determinedly reiterate its opposition to all forms of gender discrimination.

“Vallo a dire a lei” will also involve the Cavalluccio men's first team, which, on the occasion of the Modena FC – Cesena FC, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. and valid for the 29th day of Serie BKT 2025/2026, will take to the field with a special patch applied to their jerseys, a concrete symbol of the club's commitment to fighting all forms of gender discrimination.

The jerseys worn during the match will then be auctioned via the website or official app of MatchWornShirt, a partner of Cavalluccio, allowing fans and enthusiasts to get their hands on a unique item and help spread this important message.
