Following the match against US Catanzaro, Jacopo Gelli also joined the press conference at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi to discuss the game with the journalists in attendance.
“The goal brought me immense joy, especially in front of this crowd and these fans. It came at a moment when we were really pushing for it—we were right there, we were looking for it, and in the end, it happened. I’m so happy, and I dedicate this goal to my whole family, my girlfriend, and of course, the team. Given how hard we’re working and the intensity we bring to training, this is a goal that deserves to be shared with everyone.”
“Winning a game like this sends a crucial message, because in addition to playing well and winning important matches, sometimes it’s also nice to get this kind of satisfaction and achieve significant results in much tougher games. This was a hard-fought victory that gives us a lot of strength, especially when we play at home, because this has to be our stronghold—and it will be. We feel the fans’ support, and we’re happy about that.”
