Following the success of previous editions, the third edition of Scuola Bianconera has officially kicked off. This educational project, conceived by Cesena FC and supported by partners Energia Corrente, BCC Romagnolo, Apofruit, Wellness Foundation, and Euro Company, is dedicated to elementary and middle school students in the Cesena area.
This morning, Tuesday, October 20, the first session of the season took place at the Club House of the Orogel Stadium – Dino Manuzzi, which hosted about a hundred students from the Circolo Didattico IV elementary school in Cesena.
The central theme of the morning was nutrition and the importance of a healthy diet. Caterina Vernocchi, from Apofruit’s Marketing Department, kicked off the session by introducing the students to the company and explaining the reasons behind the collaboration with Cesena FC as part of the project. This partnership is built on shared values—such as unity and collaboration—which translate into the ability to work together, support one another, and function as a team to achieve a common goal, both on and off the field.
Next, Michela Lantignotti, a nutritionist for Cesena FC, and Rita Teglia, the club’s dietitian, explored the fundamental principles of proper nutrition, providing the students with practical guidance on how to plan their meals and make nutritional choices tailored to their athletic activities. The morning concluded with an interactive quiz, which allowed the students to test the knowledge they had acquired, with the chance to win prizes sponsored by Apofruit.
Also present at the event was a Juventus delegation consisting of Luca Schirone, a midfielder for the First Team, and Filippo Galvagno, a forward for the Primavera team. The two black and white players shared their experiences with the students, emphasizing the role of proper nutrition in the life of an athlete, and answered their questions and inquiries.
