Following a superb season in which they finished third in the regular season and reached the play-off semi-finals, Cesena FC Primavera will make their league debut tomorrow, Monday 24 August at 17:00, at the “Aldo Olivieri” Stadium against Hellas Verona FC Primavera in the match counting towards Matchday 1 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 Championship.

The last meeting between the two sides dates back to the 2025/26 season: the first leg ended in a 2–1 victory for the Gialloblù in the dying moments of stoppage time following a hard-fought match, whilst the return fixture ended in a goalless draw at the “Romagna Centro” Sports Centre in Martorano.

Cesena FC Primavera finished the 2025/26 season with 19 wins, 10 draws and just 9 defeats, which saw the Bianconeri finish the regular season in third place in the table and qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament, where they beat FC Internazionale Primavera in the quarter-finals before being knocked out in the semi-finals by Parma FC Primavera. The situation is different for Hellas Verona FC, who, having recorded 12 wins, 12 draws and 14 defeats, finished the season in twelfth place.

The match will be refereed by Michele Maccorin of Pordenone, who will be assisted by linesmen Angelo Macchia of Moliterno and Bruno Galigani of Sondrio.

The match will be broadcast live on Sportitalia, available on channel 60 of digital terrestrial television, as well as streamed on the broadcaster’s website and official app.
