A last-minute victory and second win of the season for Cesena FC Primavera, who defeated Torino FC Primavera 2-1 at the “Romagna Centro” Sports Complex in Martorano in a match for Matchday 6 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 Championship, thanks to goals scored by Ricci and Marini.

The first half began with both teams feeling each other out, as Torino tried to control possession and the Cavalluccio looked to exploit spaces on the counterattack. In the 7th minute, Poletti tested Cereser with a long-range shot. In the 26th minute, the Bianconeri broke the deadlock: Tonti recovered the ball in the box and set up Ricci, who made no mistake from close range to put the Cavalluccio ahead. Cesena continued to press, and in the 36th minute, they nearly doubled their lead through Enea Casadei, who shot over the bar from a favorable position. The teams went into halftime with the score 1-0.

In the second half, the Granata tried to increase the pressure, and in the 48th minute, Conzato created a dangerous chance with a shot that was deflected for a corner. The Cavalluccio responded in the 55th minute with Tonti, who, after a nice dribble, shot just wide, and in the 62nd minute with Ridolfi, who was stopped by Cereser coming off his line. In the 71st minute, however, the Granata equalized: Conzato recovered the ball after a deflection by the Bianconeri defense and found the net with his left foot to make it 1-1.

Cesena didn't give up and came out strong again in the closing minutes. In the 88th minute, Marini dribbled past two defenders and forced Cereser into a diving save, but it was just one minute later that the decisive goal came: following a corner kick and a scramble in the box, Marini himself scored the winning tap-in, sealing the final score at 2-1 and securing three points for the Cavalluccio.

Coach Nicola Pozzi’s Bianconeri will return to the field on Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m., when they’ll face US Lecce Primavera on the road in a match for Matchday 6 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 Championship.
