Same result as always: when the kids from the “Per un Calcio Integrato” project take the field, everyone wins at the final whistle.
In the late afternoon of Wednesday, October 7, the annual event took place once again this year on the field of the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi, organized by Cesena FC together with the club’s main sponsor, Gruppo Amadori, with the support of the Amadori Foundation.
There were neither winners nor losers, just plenty of fun and countless smiles, marking the memory of a special day and, without a doubt, the formation of some new friendships born from a shared passion for soccer.
Now in its third year, this sporting and social event brought together more than twenty young people from the “Per un Calcio Integrato” project, along with the very young players from Cesena FC’s Under-13 team and the children of employees and collaborators of the Gruppo Amadori, which has supported this initiative with great passion and pride since 2023.
Friendship, fun, and inclusion characterized the entire afternoon for the boys and girls on the field, who were closely supervised by the project’s instructors and supported by over ten players from the Bianconeri’s first team, with whom they participated in numerous drills and fun team games.
At the end of the activities, to the applause of the large crowd in attendance, the awards ceremony took place, during which a series of special awards were presented: for the greatest act of fair play, the best smile, the best teamwork, the warmest hug, and, finally, the new and special “Zero Limits” award, presented by the Amadori Foundation, which joined in supporting the event this year.
The day concluded with a big group hug, bringing together the players on the field with the leadership of the Gruppo Amadori — starting with CEO Denis Amadori — and that of Cesena FC, led by General Manager Corrado Di Taranto, as well as numerous institutional representatives, including Regional Councilor Francesca Lucchi, Cesena’s Deputy Mayor Christian Castorri, and City Councilors Maria Elena Baredi and Carmelina Labruzzo.
“It’s a project we liked right from the start,” said Denis Amadori, CEO of the Gruppo Amadori, “an initiative that promotes socialization and integration through sports and one in which we’ll be actively involved for a long time to come. For this third edition, the Amadori Foundation—the “philanthropic arm” of our Group, which counts social inclusion among its core pillars—has also joined in supporting the event. Our partnership with Cesena FC and our support for Inclusive Soccer reaffirm our commitment to local communities and, in particular, to the region where we were founded, to which we give so much and for which we will always be grateful. ”
“We’re happy to be here again today alongside the Gruppo Amadori,” said Corrado Di Taranto, general manager of the Bianconeri Club, “to celebrate the third edition of the annual event dedicated to Inclusive Soccer. Sporting Director Mancini, board member Agostini, Head Coach Alessandro Diamanti, and the many first-team players who chose to attend—along with the ownership group that supports us daily in our social initiatives—are a sign of just how deeply rooted this project has become within Cesena FC, representing a true source of pride for the club. “It’s an initiative that continues to thrive, as evidenced by the increase in participants, and I’d like to see it become increasingly well-known throughout Italy, successfully spreading this example of integration and inclusion to many other communities nationwide.”
