Another friendly match and another win for Cesena FC, which, in its season opener at Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi, defeated Forsempronese 3-0.

The match got off to an even start, with the visitors well-organized on the field and the Bianconeri maintaining possession as they looked for the right opening. At the half-hour mark, the Cavalluccio broke through on the right and Bisoli scored the opening goal, but the goal was disallowed due to a previous foul on the edge of the box in Cesena’s favor.

In the 40th minute, however, Magni came close to scoring the opening goal with a well-placed shot in the scramble following a corner kick. The goal that broke the deadlock came in the 49th minute of the first half: Schirone earned a penalty kick, and Shpendi stepped up to the spot, converting it to put the Cavalluccio ahead.

Midway through the second half, Cesena scored a quick one-two to seal the 3-0 victory: first, newcomer Pagano found the net with a long-range shot, while two minutes later, Bertaccini sealed the win with a third goal after a fine run into the box by the Bianconeri midfielder himself.

At the end of the friendly match, Coach Alessandro Diamanti stated: “The overall assessment is undoubtedly positive. As I’ve already said, the guys are working with great enthusiasm; they’re all on the same page and have the right attitude. It’s normal that we have to put in a lot of work, but this doesn’t just apply to preseason training; in fact, it will always be this way throughout the year.
