Having come up through the Bianconeri youth system—where he also played for the first team—Campedelli returned to Cesena in 2021 as a youth academy coach. Since taking charge of the Primavera team in 2023, he led them to the Primavera 2 title and subsequent promotion to Primavera 1, eventually reaching the league championship final.

We respect his decision to take on a new challenge at the helm of a first team—an opportunity that came about in part thanks to the results he achieved while wearing the black-and-white jersey.
