Cesena FC announces that it has acquired the services of defender Mihajlo Ilić on loan from Bologna FC through June 30, 2027.

Born in 2003 and a Serbian national, Ilić came up through the youth system at Partizan Belgrade, making his first-team debut at just nineteen years old.

After 32 appearances—including 4 in the UEFA Conference League—with the Serbian capital’s first team, in January 2024 Ilić transferred to Bologna FC, returning to Partizan Belgrade at the start of the 2024–2025 season. During his second stint in Serbia, he was a mainstay for the Black-and-Whites, making 31 appearances and scoring 4 goals.

Last season, he went on loan to RSC Anderlecht in the Juliper Pro League, Belgium’s top division, making a total of 13 appearances for the Violets.

Throughout his career, Ilić has also made 12 appearances for Serbia’s Under-21 team, scoring 2 goals while playing for them.

In the black-and-white jersey, Ilić will wear the number 6.
