Cesena FC announces that they have signed a contract with striker Giacomo Vrioni until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend.

Born in 1998, Vrioni grew up in the UC Sampdoria youth academy and made his professional debut in the 2017/2018 Serie C championship with US Pistoiese.

The following season, he made his Serie B debut with Venezia FC before moving to Juventus Under-23, making a total of two appearances in Serie A between 2020 and 2021.

Vrioni then moved to WSG Tirol, finishing as the second-highest scorer in the 2021/2022 Austrian Bundesliga with 17 goals in 25 games.

Since 2022, he has been a key player in MLS, scoring 22 goals in 78 appearances for the New England Revolution. In the first half of the current season, he also played for CF Montréal, also in the top US division.

Vrioni will wear the number 22 shirt for the Bianconeri.
