“Did I expect to start today? I always try to give my all in every practice, and what I do during the week pays off—in fact, it pays off for all of us as a team during the game. Tonight, I think my performance was positive, thanks above all to the team, because without them we wouldn’t get anywhere. Thanks also to the coach’s guidance and all my more experienced teammates—even though we’re young, we’re able to put in great performances, and that’s undoubtedly a lot to their credit as well.”

“At the end of the match, we were really tired, but there was definitely a bit of disappointment too—that’s always the case in situations like this. However, I think we’ll hold on tightly to this point today, because we showed everyone that, even though we’re a young group, we try to be ourselves and stay true to our identity, regardless of being a man down. What we’re told to do during the week, we then put into practice in the game, and today we saw that we’re a great team—because even though we were down a man for a good part of the second half, we tightened up at the back and fought until the very end.”
