For ten seasons now, a group of young men and women has been training with dedication and passion on the fields of Cavalluccio. They are the stars of the “Per un Calcio Integrato” project, an educational and social program conceived by the initiative’s current coordinator, Massimo Buratti, and now managed and promoted by Cesena FC to foster independence, self-awareness, and self-esteem among young people with intellectual or physical disabilities. Guided by a specialized coaching staff, every week the girls and boys in the project share the field, the ball, and much more: they share a sense of belonging to a family.

Because that is the right word. Over time, “Per un Calcio Integrato” has become much more than a sports activity. It has become a place of belonging, a safe haven surrounded by the affection and involvement of players from the First Team, the Youth Sector, the club’s management, and staff—creating countless unforgettable moments that have demonstrated over the years how soccer truly belongs to everyone.

This journey has also received significant recognition at the national level, with the project delegation welcomed last year in Rome by Sports Minister Andrea Abodi, a testament to the value and impact this initiative has generated far beyond the borders of Cesena. Furthermore, the project is strongly supported by many of the Club’s sponsors, starting with the Amadori Group, main partner for three seasons, BCC Romagnolo, Navigare, Reabilita Sport Tech, and Safari Ravenna, in addition to the invaluable institutional support of the Municipality of Cesena, which has always stood by the Cavalluccio on this now long journey.

SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2026: A DAY TO REMEMBER

To celebrate this important anniversary, Cesena FC wanted to create a symbolic and meaningful moment to share with all the bianconeri fans who will be in the stands at the Orogel Stadium - Dino Manuzzi on Saturday, March 21.

During the match between Cesena FC and US Catanzaro 1929, the Bianconeri First Team will take the field for the pre-match lineup wearing a special t-shirt dedicated to the project’s 10th anniversary. A jersey with names and numbers rendered in the colors of the disability pride flag: a visible and proud symbol of the identity that “Per un Calcio Integrato” has built over these ten years.

Alongside the starting eleven will be them: the young women and men of the project, who will walk hand-in-hand with the team as they enter the field and line up before the opening whistle. A collective embrace between the field and the stands, between those who play and those who cheer, between those who have made this story great and those who watch it with admiration.

Because on March 21, at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi, there will be more than just a soccer match. There will be an entire story to celebrate together.
