A long away trip is on the schedule for Cesena FC Primavera, who, after defeating FC Internazionale Primavera on the last matchday of the season, will face Cagliari Calcio Primavera on Saturday, April 18, at 1:00 PM in a match valid for the 34th matchday of the Primavera 1 Championship.
In Martorano, the first-leg match ended with a 2-1 victory for the Cavalluccio, decided by a brace from Rossetti. After the Bianconeri took the lead in the opening minutes, the Sardinian side equalized, but in the second half, Cesena FC found the decisive goal to secure the win.
Bolstered by four wins in their last five matches, the Bianconeri currently sit in second place in the standings with 58 points, level with league leaders Parma Calcio, who are ahead on head-to-head results. The situation is different for Cagliari Calcio, who, despite coming off a victory against Frosinone Calcio in the last round, occupy 18th place with 31 points, firmly in the relegation zone.
Giuseppe Vingo of Pisa has been appointed as the referee, assisted by Alessandro Ceci of Frosinone and Michele Nappi of Latina.
The match will be broadcast live on Sportitalia, available on channel 60 of digital terrestrial TV, as well as via streaming on the broadcaster’s website and official app.
