Following their extraordinary victory over FC Internazionale Primavera, Cesena FC Primavera is preparing to return to the field immediately to face Parma Calcio Primavera in the semifinal of the Final Phase of the Primavera 1 Championship, set to take place Monday, May 25 at 8:30 p.m. at the “Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park” Sports Center in Bagno a Ripoli.

Their previous meetings this season have been two very evenly matched and hard-fought contests: in the first leg of the regular season, the Gialloblù prevailed 2-1 at home, while the return match played in Martorano ended in a scoreless draw.

The match will be a single-elimination contest, and in the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, the game will proceed to a penalty shootout. At stake is a spot in the Final for the title of Italian Champion, which will take place on Thursday, May 28, at 8:30 p.m. at the “Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park” Sports Center in Bagno a Ripoli.

The match will be officiated by Alessandro Recchia of Brindisi, who will be assisted by linesmen Simone Iuliano of Siena and Luigi Ingenito of Piombino, and fourth official Mattia Nigro of Prato.

Advance ticket sales are available on the Vivaticket website (click here for all the information), and the match will also be broadcast live on Sportitalia, available on channel 60 of digital terrestrial TV, as well as via streaming on the broadcaster’s website and official app.

Here are the words of coach Nicola Campedelli on the eve of the semifinal: “It will be an extremely difficult match, but we’ll work to face it with confidence. Parma is a very strong team, but we gave it our all both in Parma and at home, and those were two beautiful, tough, physical, and technical matches because Parma has excellent players, but we’ll do everything possible to give our all this time as well.”
