Nicola Pozzi is the new coach of the Primavera team

Cesena FC announces that it has appointed Nicola Pozzi as head coach of the Primavera team.

Born in Rimini in 1986, this marks a return to the black-and-white colors for Pozzi, as he came up through the Cesena FC youth system.

He made his first-team debut with Cesena at just sixteen years old, kicking off a long career that saw him play for Milan, Napoli, Pescara, Empoli, Sampdoria, and Parma, among others, as well as representing Italy’s Under-21 national team.

After retiring as a player in 2019, Pozzi began his coaching career, first leading the Tuscan club Grassina and then Carrarese’s Primavera team, before joining Sampdoria’s coaching staff as an assistant.

Below is the coaching staff that will support the new Primavera head coach during the 2026/2027 season:
